Work has officially commenced on the mega project linking Margalla Road to the Motorway, aimed at resolving Islamabad’s traffic issues and providing a seamless travel experience for citizens.Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the site to inspect the construction activities and received a detailed briefing from officials. This strategic project is set to become a vital alternative route for commuters.
Key Highlights of the Project:Total Length: 2.7 km long road connecting Islamabad directly to the Motorway.Infrastructure: Construction of a 3-lane road on both sides along with 2-lane service roads.

Deadlines: The Interior Minister has directed the completion of the Sangjani Interchange by July 31, while the overall project is expected to be finished by December 2026.
