A heartbreaking case of injustice has emerged from the Khengar area (Chontra Police Station jurisdiction) on Chakri Road. 85-year-old Zeb-un-Nisa alleges that local property dealers, in connivance with Revenue Department officials, have fraudulently transferred her 5-kanal inherited land to their names.Her daughter, Azra Bibi, claims they have been running from pillar to post for over a year. Despite submitting written complaints to the Chontra Police, ADCR, Arazi Record Center, Anti-Corruption Department, and the local MPA, no action has been taken against the influential land grabbers.Out of options and facing constant mistreatment from officials, the mother and daughter have released a video statement appealing to the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) for immediate intervention.
