Islamabad: A major burglary has been reported in the high-profile residential society of Multi Gardens B-17, located on the border of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Unknown thieves allegedly escaped with jewelry and other valuables worth millions of rupees, raising concerns about the effectiveness of the society’s security arrangements.
According to sources, unidentified burglars broke into the residence of Union Council Chairman Hamza, located in A Block, Street No. 28, late at night. The suspects reportedly stole jewelry and other valuable items worth approximately Rs. 8 million before fleeing the scene.

Residents of the area have expressed concern over the increasing number of thefts and other criminal incidents within the jurisdiction of Sangjani Police Station. They say that despite checkpoints and security measures, citizens continue to feel unsafe.
Residents have urged the society administration to further strengthen security arrangements and tighten surveillance at main and entry points to prevent similar incidents in the future.
It is noteworthy that despite the presence of police and advanced security measures in Multi Gardens B-17, this incident is being described as an exceptionally bold act by the thieves.
