Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) central leader and Vice President of the Women’s Wing Sindh, Senator Rubina Qaim Khani, said that the party’s success in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections is a reflection of the public’s trust in the PPP and its leadership.
She stated that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have not forgotten Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. According to her, the PPP has always raised its voice for the rights of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and has also delivered on those rights. She added that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto, and other party leaders conducted an exceptional election campaign, which resulted in a significant victory for the party.
Expressing these views in a statement, Senator Rubina Qaim Khani said that the PPP will form the government in Gilgit-Baltistan and that a party worker (Jiyala) will become the Chief Minister.
Congratulating all successful PPP candidates and especially the party workers on their victory in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections, she said that the win was the result of collective hard work and unity.
She further stated that the PPP is a people’s party and that its success in Gilgit-Baltistan has provided an answer to its critics. She assured that the PPP will fulfill the promises made to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and will continue its struggle for democracy and the supremacy of the Constitution.
