Chinese Delegation Visits NUTECH to Discuss Enhancement of Academic and Research Collaboration

Wuhan Textile University and NUTECH Agree to Expand Cooperation in Biomedical Engineering, Research, and Technology

Islamabad (News Reporter): A high-level delegation comprising faculty members from the School of Biomedical Engineering of Wuhan Textile University, People’s Republic of China, visited the National University of Technology (NUTECH), where both institutions held detailed discussions on prospects for enhancing academic, scientific, and research collaboration.

The delegation was led by Professor Dr. Xiaowei Zhang, Dean of the School of Biomedical Engineering and Health, Wuhan Textile University. The delegation also included Dr. Teng Yun, Dr. Zareen Zahra, Dr. Wajid Hussain, Chairman of the Pakistan Science Foundation Professor Dr. Muhammad Akmal, Member Science Dr. Mirza Habib Ali, Principal Scientific Officer Ms. Zeeba Farooq, and Deputy Director Raja Abdul Rehman.

During the visit, the delegation was given a comprehensive briefing on NUTECH’s academic programs, advanced research facilities, technology-driven initiatives, and industrial linkages. Discussions were also held on expanding cooperation in the fields of biomedical engineering, joint research, faculty and student exchange programs, collaborative projects, and advanced scientific research.

The delegation appreciated NUTECH’s modern academic and research capabilities and expressed its commitment to establishing a strong future partnership between the two institutions through joint research projects and the further expansion of academic collaboration.
