Four Members of Organized Motorcycle Theft Gang Arrested in Islamabad; Seven Stolen Motorcycles Recovered

Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Islamabad Police have arrested four members of an organized gang involved in multiple motorcycle theft incidents. The Anti-Motorcycle Lifting Unit recovered seven stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees from their possession. Multiple criminal cases have already been registered against the suspects, while further investigation is underway.

According to details, Islamabad Police are continuing a large-scale crackdown against criminals involved in motorcycle theft and other crimes across the federal capital. As part of this campaign, the Anti-Motorcycle Lifting Unit, utilizing modern technology and human intelligence, arrested four members of an organized gang involved in numerous motorcycle theft cases.

During the operation, the police recovered seven stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees from the suspects’ possession.

The arrested suspects were identified as Sajid, Sher Ahmad, Hamza, and Shehzad. Multiple criminal cases have been registered against them. During the initial investigation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in several motorcycle theft incidents. Further investigation is in progress.

SSP Security Operations Islamabad, Suleman Zafar, said that Islamabad Police are taking vigorous action against criminals involved in motorcycle theft and street robbery, resulting in a significant decline in such incidents across the federal capital. He directed all police officers to continue the crackdown against criminal elements without interruption.
