Kallar Syedan Police Crack Down on Gambling, Arrest Five Persons for Gambling Through “Doli Dana”

Rs. 49,000, Five Mobile Phones, Gambling Equipment, and Other Items Recovered; Case Registered Against the Suspects

Rawalpindi (Sanober Kiani): Kallar Syedan Police conducted a crackdown against gambling and arrested five individuals allegedly involved in gambling through the traditional game known as “Doli Dana.” Police recovered Rs. 49,000 staked as gambling money, five mobile phones, Doli Dana equipment, and other related items from their possession.

According to the Rawalpindi Police spokesperson, Kallar Syedan Police acted on confidential information and arrested the suspects red-handed while they were engaged in gambling. The recovered cash and other items were taken into police custody, and a case has been registered against the accused.

SP Saddar Anam Sher stated that the arrested suspects would be sent to court with strong evidence. She added that gambling is a root cause of various social evils and that indiscriminate action against those involved in such illegal activities will continue.
