Training Workshop on SLO-Based Assessment System and Recent Examination Reforms Held at WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela

Tarbela Ghazi (Staff Reporter): A training workshop on “SLO-Based Assessment System and Recent Examination Reforms” was organized at WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela in collaboration with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad.

The workshop was arranged on the request of Principal WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela, Brigadier (Retd.) Dr. Rafaqat Islam, Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military), under the directions of Chairman Federal Board, Dr. Ikram Ali Malik.

Teachers from various Federal Board-affiliated educational institutions, including WAPDA Schools and College Tarbela, Army Public School Tarbela, Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Public School Topi, and other institutions from Ghazi and Tarbela, participated in the workshop.

Mirza Ali, Director Test and Development at the Federal Board, delivered a detailed briefing on the SLO-based examination system, recent examination reforms, and modern teaching and assessment methodologies. Syed Zulfiqar Shah, Deputy Secretary Research and Academics, was also present on the occasion.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Principal Brigadier (Retd.) Dr. Rafaqat Islam thanked the Chairman of the Federal Board, the resource persons, and the participating institutions. He reaffirmed his commitment to promoting quality education in the region, enhancing the professional development of teachers, and fostering best practices in the field of education.
