Cash, Valuable Mobile Phones and Weapons with Ammunition Used in Crimes Recovered from Suspects; Cases Registered, Further Investigation Underway

ISLAMABAD (Crime Reporter): Islamabad Police Industrial Area Police Station team arrested two members of a dangerous gang wanted in multiple incidents of robbery and street crime.

Cash allegedly snatched at gunpoint, valuable mobile phones and weapons along with ammunition used in the crimes were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects.

Several cases have already been registered against the suspects, while further investigation is underway.

According to details, the Islamabad Police Industrial Area Police Station team arrested two members of a dangerous gang wanted in multiple robbery and street crime incidents.

Cash allegedly snatched at gunpoint, valuable mobile phones and weapons along with ammunition used in the incidents were recovered from the arrested suspects.

Several cases have been registered against the suspects. During the initial investigation, the arrested suspects confessed to their involvement in multiple incidents, while further interrogation is ongoing.

On the special instructions of DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, Islamabad Police is conducting a large-scale crackdown in the federal capital to arrest suspects involved in robbery, street crime and other serious offences and to prevent crime.

Comprehensive action is being taken against criminal elements in the federal capital, resulting in a significant decline in serious incidents.

The DIG Islamabad has directed all officers to continue action against suspects who deprive citizens of their valuable assets.
