Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the Capital Police College, where he reviewed ongoing training courses and security arrangements in detail during a meeting with senior officers. He also inspected the professional training and training standards for officers of the Federal Investigation Agency.
The IG Islamabad directed all officers to give special attention to modern technology, intelligence-based investigations and digital forensics, further improve training standards, maintain effective security and complete the courses on time.
According to details, Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the Capital Police College Islamabad, where he chaired an important meeting with senior police officers and conducted a detailed review of ongoing training activities, security arrangements and the overall professional training system at the college.
DIG Law and Order Muhammad Atiq Tahir, SSP Law and Order Captain (Retd.) Hamza Humayun, SSP CTD Saud Khan, Director Training CTD Major Ejaz and other relevant officers attended the meeting.
During the visit, the IG Islamabad received a briefing on the professional training being provided to officers of the Federal Investigation Agency, the training curriculum, modern teaching methods, practical exercises, intelligence-based investigations, digital forensics and scientific investigative skills.
He inspected the training activities and also met with the officers under training to review their professional capabilities, training standards and learning process.
IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed that all ongoing training courses at the Capital Police College be completed on time and according to the prescribed standards. He further directed that the training curriculum be kept aligned with modern requirements and that security arrangements be further strengthened and made more effective so that training activities could continue in the best possible environment.
He said that modern technology, scientific research, digital forensics, intelligence-based policing, human rights and professional ethics should be made an integral part of training programmes so that officers could effectively deal with all types of security and investigative challenges.
He further said that the Capital Police College is playing a key role in enhancing the professional capabilities of law enforcement officers and promoting modern policing. Professional cooperation among institutions, the exchange of experiences and quality training can further strengthen the national security system.
The IG Islamabad reaffirmed that Islamabad Police would continue to make high-quality training and capacity building among its top priorities for the promotion of modern, professional, effective and public-friendly policing.
