Modern, Well-Equipped Laboratories Will Enhance Students’ Creative Abilities, Say Faculty and Students

Murree (Raja Usman Ali): Under the educational vision of Vice Chancellor of Kohsar University Murree, Professor Dr. Rafia Mumtaz (Pride of Performance), another important step has been taken to improve the university’s educational and technical infrastructure.

The Vice Chancellor formally inaugurated three state-of-the-art computer laboratories and a dedicated laboratory for Final Year Design Projects (FYDP) at the university.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rafia Mumtaz said that providing students with modern educational facilities and practical training was an essential need of the time. She said that providing students with access to modern technology was the university’s top priority.

She emphasized that the new computer laboratories would play a key role in enhancing the research, creative, and professional skills of students.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Rafia Mumtaz said that the purpose of establishing the FYDP Lab was to provide final-year students with a quality and conducive environment to work on modern research and projects aligned with the industry and market requirements.

The university’s faculty and students described this important initiative as a practical manifestation of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rafia Mumtaz’s educational vision. Appreciating her efforts, they said that the establishment of these laboratories was an important step toward promoting higher education, modern research, innovation, and quality development at the university, which would help brighten the future of students.
