Meeting Reviews Overall Police Performance and Assigns Key Responsibilities to Senior Officers with Specific Timelines

Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reviewed public service delivery and modern policing initiatives during a meeting held under his chairmanship.

The meeting examined various matters related to improving the overall performance of the police department and enhancing the quality of public services. Senior officers were also assigned important responsibilities with specific timelines.

According to details, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The meeting was attended by DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DIG Headquarters Muhammad Atiq Tahir, and DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on improving public service delivery, ensuring transparency and merit in the recruitment process of Islamabad Police, protection of citizens’ lives and property, strengthening security arrangements, promotion of modern policing, and improving overall departmental performance.

On the occasion, IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi assigned important responsibilities and tasks to senior officers with clear timelines. He directed that the assigned targets should be completed within the given deadlines, all measures should be regularly monitored, and the performance of every department should be made more effective, transparent, and public-friendly.

He emphasized that the policing system should be further strengthened through the provision of quality and timely services to citizens, merit-based recruitment, effective security measures, and the use of modern technology.

He further stressed that professionalism, accountability, and transparency must be ensured at every level while performing official duties.
