Under the slogan “Defeat Drugs, Promote Sports — This is the Commitment for a Strong and Safe Pakistan,” the second exciting and thrilling match of the Independence Cricket Festival 2026 tournament was played between the teams of Police Station Peer Pahai and Police Station Daudkhel at the Nahar Colony Daudkhel Ground.

The chief guests of the match were SHO Police Station Daudkhel Sub-Inspector Maqbool Khan and SHO Police Station Peer Pahai Sub-Inspector Rehmatullah Khan. They met the players of both teams, encouraged them, and expressed their commitment to promoting sports and keeping the youth away from the menace of drugs.

Both teams displayed excellent performance and competitive spirit; however, due to outstanding play, the team of Police Station Peer Pahai succeeded in securing victory.

The purpose of the Independence Cricket Festival 2026 is to promote healthy activities among the youth, strengthen positive sporting traditions, and create awareness against drugs so that the establishment of a safe, healthy, and prosperous society can be ensured.
