Islamabad (Special Reporter): Chairman of the Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party and Chairman of Rawal General & Dental Hospital and Rawal Foundation, Khagan Waheed Khawaja, has said that his party is preparing for the upcoming local government elections and will field candidates from every constituency once the government announces the election schedule.

He stated that his party understands the problems faced by the people and is committed to resolving public issues at their doorstep. He added that the party’s elected councillors would be empowered and capable of effectively addressing local community concerns.

Khagan Waheed Khawaja expressed these views while speaking with various delegations who visited his office. The delegations included prominent political and social figures from Burma Town, including Raja Amjad Hussain, Mazhar Ali, Sharafat Hussain, Yaqoob Khan, Allah Ditta, Siddique Khawaja, Nasreen Akhtar, Zakaullah Butt, Humaira Hassan, Kashif Hassan, Parveen Hassan, Fatima, Azhar Kiani, Syed Saddam Gilani, Sardar Akhlaq Abbasi, Sardar Asrar Abbasi, Gulzar Abbasi, Sardar Hayat Abbasi, Muhammad Shabbir Khan, Raja Allah Ditta, Muhammad Shah, Fayyaz Muhammad, Maqsood Khan, Malik Sarwar, Tariq Mahmood, Riyasat Abbasi, and Atiq Ahmed, along with other representatives from different areas.

A large number of women were also present on the occasion, including Zada, Rubina Bibi, Nosheen, Saira, Alisha Rafiq, Nasreen Bibi, Saadia Bibi, Shazia Bibi, Mehreen, Sheikh Atiq, Abida, Nabila, and Sajida.

The visiting women were briefed about the party’s objectives and structure by Syeda Firdous from the women’s wing. Meanwhile, delegations from various union councils met with members of the Central Executive Committee of the Pakistan Awami Quwwat Party, who listened to their concerns and provided them with information about the party’s organizational structure.

Speaking to the delegations, Khagan Waheed Khawaja said that all public issues brought to the party’s attention are addressed on a priority basis. He urged party workers and supporters to spread the party’s manifesto across every street and neighborhood and strengthen public engagement ahead of the local government elections.
