Senior police officers personally monitor test centers following directives of IGP Islamabad

Islamabad (Crime Reporter): The recruitment process for Islamabad Police Recruitment 2026 is continuing with complete transparency, merit-based procedures, and strict adherence to established rules and regulations, following special instructions from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

To ensure effective monitoring of all stages of the recruitment process, senior police officers remained present at various test centers, personally supervising the physical and running tests, security arrangements, facilities provided to candidates, and overall administrative measures.

In this regard, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq remained present at the Police Lines Headquarters Test Center, where he personally monitored all stages of the physical and running tests, candidate verification procedures, security arrangements, and other operational matters to ensure that the recruitment process was conducted in an organized, transparent, and uninterrupted manner.

Similarly, DIG Headquarters Muhammad Atiq Tahir also visited the Police Lines Headquarters Test Center, where the physical and running tests were conducted under his supervision. He reviewed the arrangements made for candidates, discipline, security measures, and other administrative matters, directing the concerned officers to complete all stages according to the prescribed procedures, merit, and transparency standards.

Additionally, DIG Security Islamabad Rana Umar Farooq supervised the recruitment activities at the F-9 Test Center, where he personally monitored the physical and running tests, security arrangements, facilities for candidates, and overall management. The concerned officers and staff successfully completed the recruitment stages in an organized manner under his supervision.

IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed all senior police officers to ensure merit, transparency, and equal opportunities at every stage of the recruitment process. He made it clear that any form of recommendation, favoritism, or illegal interference would not be tolerated.

He stated that only candidates who are qualified, capable, physically fit, and professionally competent would be selected purely on merit.

The IGP further directed officials to ensure the provision of the best possible facilities for candidates, effective security arrangements, a disciplined environment, and a transparent procedure so that the recruitment process could be completed smoothly, impartially, and in accordance with the approved rules and regulations.
