SP Saddar Zone/Industrial Area Zone Khalid Mehmood Awan directs officers to resolve public grievances promptly under the Open Door Policy

Islamabad (Crime Reporter): In line with the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, SP Saddar Zone/Industrial Area Zone Khalid Mehmood Awan held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at his office under the Islamabad Police’s Open Door Policy to ensure the prompt resolution of public complaints.

During the session, citizens presented their grievances and requested assistance on various issues. SP Khalid Mehmood Awan listened to each complaint and directed the relevant officers to take immediate legal action on the marked applications and submit progress reports within the stipulated timeframe.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that Islamabad Police is committed to serving the public and ensuring timely redress of citizens’ concerns. He emphasized that providing maximum relief to the public remains the force’s top priority.

He further stated that Islamabad Police follows a zero-tolerance policy against violence involving women and children, adding that strict enforcement of the law will be ensured in all cases.

Khalid Mehmood Awan also stressed that every citizen is entitled to equal rights and that all complaints will be decided strictly on merit and in accordance with the law. He reaffirmed that the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity remains the foremost responsibility of Islamabad Police.
