“Jeeve Pakistan Rally” and “Stability of Pakistan Convention” to Be Held on August 14: Shehzada Usman Tahir

Loyalty to the State Is Above Political and Party Affiliations; Raising Awareness Among the Public and Overseas Pakistanis Is the Objective of Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan: Azhar Mahmood Awan

Islamabad (News Reporter): The Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan will organize a “Jeeve Pakistan Rally” and “Stability of Pakistan Convention” on August 14 in connection with Independence Day.

In this regard, Shehzada Usman Tahir, Founder and Chairman of the Stability of Pakistan Overseas Forum, and Azhar Mahmood Awan, Chief Advisor IPOF Europe and spokesperson for Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan, have arrived in Pakistan.

A luncheon was hosted in their honor by Mir Muhammad Ali, Chief Coordinator of Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan Islamabad. Prominent social, political, religious, and business personalities from Rawalpindi and Islamabad attended the event and welcomed the guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Shehzada Usman Tahir said that following the widespread recognition and success achieved by the Stability of Pakistan Overseas Forum around the world, the Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan was established in Pakistan with the same objectives. He said the movement has already made an impressive beginning through rallies and conventions.

He said that alongside membership drives, the movement is being organized at the district and tehsil levels across the country. Coordinators have already been appointed in Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Murree, and certain areas of Kashmir, while the organizational process is continuing in other districts.

Azhar Mahmood Awan said that the fundamental objective of the Stability of Pakistan Overseas Forum and Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan is to create awareness among the public and overseas Pakistanis that loyalty to the state is more important than political or party affiliation.

He said that Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan is a non-political movement aimed at raising public awareness and enabling citizens to understand the distinction between loyalty to a political party and loyalty to the state.

The event was attended by Ghulam Ali Khan, President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Vice Chairman of the Seerat-o-Milad Committee Rawalpindi; Mirza Taimur Ali Warisi, Chief Coordinator of Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan Gujar Khan; Raja Asim, former candidate for National Assembly constituency NA-56; Tanveer Akhtar Bhatti, Chairman Union Council and Chairman Water Board; prominent Kashmiri social and political figure Raja Naeem; young Kashmiri leader Raja Majid; business personalities Saqib Aziz and Qaiser Raja; Allama Ishtiaq Alvi, Rizwan Akbar, Shahmeer, Wasi, and other dignitaries.

The participants appreciated the activities of Tehreek-e-Istihkam Pakistan and assured the movement of their full cooperation.

Mir Muhammad Ali thanked the participants and briefed them on the objectives and aims of the movement.

At the conclusion of the event, Allama Ishtiaq Alvi, head of Jamia Siddiqia and central preacher of Jamia Masjid Siddiqia, delivered a speech on the topic “Love for the Homeland Is a Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).” The program concluded with a collective prayer.
