FIA Immigration Islamabad Airport Takes Action; Passenger Handed Over to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for Further Investigation

Islamabad (Report: Izhar Khan Niazi): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration at Islamabad Airport offloaded a passenger after discovering that he had obtained a Saudi Arabian tourist visa using a fake and misleading U.S. permanent resident card.

According to the FIA, on August 8, 2026, during secondary profiling, travel documents of a passenger traveling to Saudi Arabia on PIA flight PK-841 were thoroughly examined. The investigation revealed that the passenger had obtained a Saudi tourist visa on the basis of a fraudulent U.S. permanent resident card.

The passenger is a resident of Peshawar.

During the initial investigation, the passenger disclosed that he had obtained the aforementioned visa after paying Rs. 220,000 to an agent named Hussain.

FIA Immigration offloaded the passenger and handed him over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad for further legal action.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
