August 14 Is a Day to Renew Our Commitment; Pakistan’s Progress Is Our Resolve, Says Naeem Pasha

Youth Wing Leader Urges Nation to Follow Quaid-e-Azam’s Principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline

Rawalpindi (News Reporter):

Divisional President of the Youth Wing of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Rawalpindi, Naeem Pasha, has said that August 14 symbolizes Pakistan’s independence, the great sacrifices made for the country and national unity. The day reminds us that Pakistan came into being as a result of the unprecedented struggle and immense sacrifices of our elders, and protecting, developing and ensuring the prosperity of the country is a collective responsibility of all Pakistanis.

In his message on the occasion of Independence Day, he said that the Muslim League played a fundamental and historic role in the Pakistan Movement and continued to contribute significantly to the country’s development after independence.

He said that during the PML-N governments, numerous development projects were completed in infrastructure, roads, motorways, electricity, energy, education, healthcare and other sectors.

Naeem Pasha said that the Misaq-e-Makkah is an important development regarding mutual cooperation and joint defence among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. He said the initiative highlights the commitment of Muslim countries to solidarity, cooperation and mutual security.

He added that strengthening positive relations between Pakistan and its brotherly countries could play an important role in promoting peace, stability and cooperation in the region.

He said the Rawalpindi Ring Road is also an important project for regional development and providing better travel facilities to the public. The project would help reduce traffic congestion in Rawalpindi, improve connectivity and promote commercial and economic activities.

Naeem Pasha appreciated the public welfare and development projects being carried out in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He said initiatives in roads, infrastructure, healthcare, education, youth development and civic facilities are aimed at providing direct benefits to the people.

He said continuity of development projects would help take Punjab towards new milestones of economic and social development.

Naeem Pasha said August 14 is not merely a day for celebrations but also an opportunity to renew our commitment to national duties and responsibilities. He said Pakistanis must make the principles of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah—Unity, Faith and Discipline—a part of their lives and work for Pakistan’s progress by rising above personal interests.

He said the youth are Pakistan’s valuable asset and the architects of its future. The PML-N Youth Wing is playing its role in encouraging young people to participate in positive and constructive activities and increasing their contribution to the country’s development.

Naeem Pasha congratulated the entire nation, particularly the youth, on Independence Day and prayed that Allah Almighty may always protect Pakistan and lead it towards new heights of progress, prosperity, peace and stability.
