Dawood Khel (Zia Niazi): Deputy Commissioner Mianwali Shahid Abbas Kathia visited Isa Khel Tehsil along with Assistant Commissioner Khalil Ahmed.

According to details, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed visit to Isa Khel city, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Special Education Center, Government Graduate College, Municipal Committee Office, Land Record Center, Assistant Commissioner’s Office Isa Khel, and the inter-provincial check post at Dara Tang.

During his inspection of various departments of the THQ Hospital, the Deputy Commissioner inquired about the well-being of patients and reviewed cleanliness arrangements and the availability of medical facilities. He directed the hospital administration to ensure that patients are provided with all basic healthcare facilities in addition to government medicines.

Shahid Abbas Kathia also reviewed educational activities at the Special Education Center and Government Graduate College. He directed the administration of the Special Education School to pay special attention to the education and training of special children, noting that the Chief Minister of Punjab has established a state-of-the-art institution for children with special needs.

At the Assistant Commissioner’s Office, Shahid Abbas Kathia planted a sapling as part of the plantation campaign. He also inspected records at the Revenue Office and Land Record Center, listened to the problems of citizens present there, and directed the concerned staff to resolve revenue-related issues of applicants on a priority basis.

The Deputy Commissioner also visited the Municipal Committee Office in Isa Khel and directed the Chief Officer of the Municipal Committee to keep all staff, along with the necessary machinery, on alert during the monsoon season to deal with any emergency situation.

He also visited Isa Khel city and reviewed the cleanliness arrangements and the washing of roads. He strictly directed the officials of the Suthra Punjab initiative to ensure daily washing and cleanliness of the city’s roads.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected the ongoing rehabilitation and repair work at the Isa Khel lock-up and directed that the work be completed immediately.

He also reviewed the historic short-distance route connecting Isa Khel with Mianwali. During his meeting with local residents, he discussed matters related to the complete restoration of the route.

Later, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Kathia visited the inter-provincial check post at Dara Tang. He reviewed the attendance of the staff and polio teams, security arrangements, and measures taken to prevent wheat smuggling.

He directed the personnel deployed at the check post to remain alert round the clock and keep a strict watch on the transportation of wheat.
