Influential Individuals Accused of Creating Obstacles to School Construction, Vandalism and Taking Away Records and Solar System; Principal Benazir Rajar Approaches Court, Future of 250 Children Feared to Be at Risk
Jamshoro (Bureau Report): Principal of an elementary school in Khasai, an area of Manjhand Tehsil, Benazir Rajar has approached the court against alleged attempts to obstruct the construction of the school building, harass children and teachers, and force the closure of the educational institution.
Through Supreme Court lawyer Agha Kashif Hussain, she filed a petition before a court in Jamshoro. Speaking to the media on the court premises, Benazir Rajar said that she purchased a plot from Khamiso Shoro in 2016 and constructed a school there. In 2025, she purchased another plot from Tajo Shoro through a legal agreement and launched the Penza Education System, establishing an elementary school in the Manjhand Tehsil area.
According to her, around 250 children from the area are currently enrolled at the school. However, she alleged that certain influential individuals, including Taj Muhammad Shoro and Khamiso Shoro, have allegedly been creating obstacles to the construction of the school building.
Benazir Rajar alleged that the school was attacked and vandalized on several occasions and that its solar system and records were also allegedly taken away. She further claimed that she has been receiving death threats and has been continuously harassed.
She alleged that Khamiso Shoro, Tajo Shoro, and some other influential individuals have been interfering in the school’s educational activities and allegedly have the support of certain influential elements.
According to the principal, a continued atmosphere of fear and threats has forced several children to stop attending school, seriously affecting their education.
She said that applications regarding the matter had also been submitted to the Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jamshoro, but no significant action has been taken so far.
Benazir Rajar said that the purpose of approaching the court was to seek protection for the children, teachers, and school and to ensure that educational activities could continue without fear.
She demanded that the district administration and police take immediate notice of the matter, provide security to the school, and conduct an impartial investigation into the alleged threats, harassment, vandalism, and removal of equipment and records.
She also called for safeguarding the educational future of more than 250 children in the area.
She said that depriving children of education is unacceptable under any circumstances and urged the administration to act according to the law without being influenced by powerful individuals and to provide complete protection to the school, students, and teachers.
