A thrilling encounter took place last night in the Sadiqabad Police Station jurisdiction, Rawalpindi. Two motorcycle-borne dacoits opened fire on a Dolphin Force team while trying to escape after a robbery.

Dacoit Neutralized: One robber, identified as Haseeb, was injured during the exchange of fire and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. His accomplice managed to escape, and a search operation is underway.
Miraculous Escape: During the shootout, a bullet hit Constable Zaryab, but he remained unharmed thanks to his bulletproof jacket.
Recoveries: Police recovered 3 snatched mobile phones (2 from the New Town area and 1 from the current robbery), illegal weapons, and the motorcycle used in the crime.
Criminal Record: The deceased dacoit, Haseeb, was a history-sheeter involved in dozens of cases of robbery and illegal weapons.
