Dawood Khel (Zia Niazi) – An important meeting of the District Coordination Committee Mianwali was held in the committee room of the DC office. The meeting was chaired by MPA Ali Haider Noor Khan Niazi. Attendees included Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Khatia, members of the District Coordination Committee former MPA Amanatullah Khan Shadi Khel, former MPA Malik Muhammad Feroz Joiya, SP Investigation Mehr Riaz Naz, ADC Revenue Muhammad Shahid Khokhar, AD Municipal Services Majid bin Ahmad, along with various departmental officers. The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation in the district, the Punjab Development Program, the restoration of roads under the Punjab Khushal Program, measures to prevent river erosion in Mohallah Muhammad Sharif Wali, health facilities, and detailed assessments of Independence Day programs. Addressing the meeting, MPA Ali Haider Noor Khan Niazi stated that the Punjab Development Program is a mega welfare development initiative by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, which will permanently resolve issues related to the city’s sewage and sanitation. He directed the relevant officials to expedite work on this major development project and the road restoration program, ensuring the use of quality materials in construction. The DCC members instructed police officials to take more effective legal action against drug dealers and criminal elements. During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Abbas Khatia provided updates on development projects, Maryam Nawaz Medical College, the Clean Punjab Program, Independence Day programs, and progress on preventing river erosion in Muhammad Sharif Wali, while SP Investigation Mehr Riaz Naz briefed on the overall law and order situation and actions taken against criminal elements.
