Islamabad (Izhhar Khan Niazi) – National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq attended a special city parade organized by the Ministry of Interior on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day as the chief guest, at the invitation of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
While congratulating the participants of the city parade and the entire nation on the 79th Independence Day, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stated that Independence Day reminds us of the struggles, great sacrifices, and national responsibilities associated with the establishment of our beloved homeland.
The National Assembly Speaker praised the police force and other law enforcement agencies for their outstanding performance during the city parade. He also commended the excellent performances of artists presenting cultural programs and national songs.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq appreciated the efforts of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi and his team for the splendid organization and management of the city parade on Independence Day, stating that such events play a crucial role in highlighting national spirit, unity, and patriotism.
The National Assembly Speaker emphasized that Pakistan’s independence is the fruit of the great struggles and eternal sacrifices of our elders. He urged the need to renew our commitment to national unity, upholding the constitution and democracy, and strengthening Pakistan through collective efforts for a more robust, stable, and prosperous future.
