Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi conducted an extensive visit to the National Police Academy (NPA) in Islamabad to review ongoing developmental projects and modernizing police training standards.Key Highlights of the Visit:Elite Training Shift: Starting this year, elite training for officers will be centralized at the National Police Academy to ensure uniform and high-quality standards across Pakistan.Elite Training School: Deadline set for May 31st to complete the Elite Police Training School project.Modern Driving School: Directions issued to establish a state-of-the-art driving school focusing on advanced driving skills and "Car Chasing” techniques.Technological Advancement: Emphasis on practical training using Drones, Night Vision devices, and modern weaponry.Infrastructure Upgrades: Construction of a multi-story hostel, installation of solar systems, and establishment of three IT-equipped smart classrooms.Facility Improvement: Orders to set up Crime Scene Rooms for investigation training and upgrading the Sports Complex, including new Padel Tennis courts.The Minister was briefed by Commandant NPA Saad Akhtar Bharwana. Top officials including Dr. Usman Anwar and Ali Nasir Rizvi were also present.
