Agreement on enhancing Pakistan-U.S. bilateral cooperation, mutual training programs for police officers, and collaboration against organized crime, drug trafficking, and human smuggling.

Islamabad (Izhhar Khan Niazi) – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with U.S. Ambassador Natalie Baker, where they had an in-depth discussion on the overall regional situation, peace and stability, and matters of mutual interest.

During the meeting, they also talked about further promoting bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the United States in various sectors. Issues related to mutual programs and training activities for police officers were also discussed.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and U.S. Ambassador Natalie Baker agreed to enhance cooperation against organized crime, drug trafficking, and human smuggling. Both sides emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation and capacity building among law enforcement agencies.

U.S. Ambassador Natalie Baker praised the positive diplomatic role of Field Marshal for peace and stability in the region and commended Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for regional peace.

The meeting was also attended by the Federal Secretary of Interior.
