Important Meeting Held in Murree to Prevent Dengue, Special Campaign in Educational Institutions Decided

 

Murree (Raja Usman Ali) – An important meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Murree to review dengue prevention measures and the performance of the health department, following special directives from the Chief Minister of Punjab. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi. Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Umar Owais Kiani, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Kamran Sagheer, Assistant Commissioner Captain (Retd) Arshad Iqbal, CEO Health, and other relevant officials attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed ongoing efforts to prevent the potential spread of the dengue virus in Murree, the performance of the health department, and the anti-dengue campaign in detail. Officials were instructed to make dengue control activities more effective and swift, ensuring timely identification and elimination of potential breeding sites.
At the conclusion of the meeting, in accordance with the Chief Minister of Punjab’s directives, emphasis was placed on launching a special awareness campaign against dengue in educational institutions, particularly universities, conducting seminars, and involving students in the campaign to keep educational institutions safe from the deadly disease like dengue.
