Adherence to the Quran and Sunnah Is the Guarantee of Success for the Muslim Ummah, Says Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah

Patron-in-Chief of Idara Taleemat-e-Islamia Pakistan, Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, stated that the Holy Quran is a complete code of life for humanity and that the success of the Muslim Ummah lies in its attachment to the Quran and Sunnah and in following the Nizam-e-Mustafa ﷺ.

A weekly gathering of Zikr and Dars-e-Quran was organized under the auspices of Idara Taleemat-e-Islamia, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed. The event was hosted by Hafiz Sheikh Muhammad Qasim, Deputy Director, while Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah delivered the keynote address.

In his speech, Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah paid tribute to the immense sacrifices of the Ahl-e-Bait for the supremacy of Islam and the preservation of the Nizam-e-Mustafa ﷺ. He said that Hazrat Ali (RA), Imam Hussain (RA), Hazrat Ali Akbar (RA), Hazrat Qasim (RA), and Hazrat Ali Asghar (RA) sacrificed their lives for the establishment of the true faith, and their sacrifices remain a symbol of the clear distinction between truth and falsehood.

Explaining various verses of the Holy Quran, he said that the message of the true faith will always prevail and that the decrees of Allah Almighty are absolute and unchangeable. Elaborating on the verse from Surah Al-Hijr, “Fasda‘ bima tu’mar” (Proclaim openly what you have been commanded), he stated that Allah Almighty instructed the Holy Prophet ﷺ to present the message of Islam with courage and conviction so that the veils of falsehood may be torn apart and the light of truth may shine forth.

Allama Syed Riaz Hussain Shah urged the audience to understand the message of the Holy Quran, act upon its teachings, and shape their lives in accordance with Islamic principles. He emphasized that the success of the Muslim Ummah lies in its adherence to the Quran and Sunnah and in following the Nizam-e-Mustafa ﷺ.

At the conclusion of the gathering, special prayers were offered for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, the peace and stability of Pakistan, and the welfare and prosperity of the Islamic world.
