AFL Punjab Association Elections: Attaullah Khan Elected Unopposed as President

Gujranwala (Bureau Report): The elections of the AFL Punjab Association were successfully held under the supervision of the Sports Board Punjab. The electoral process was completed peacefully, transparently and democratically with the participation of association members.

In the elections, Attaullah Khan was unanimously elected President, Muhammad Shoaib as General Secretary, and Nadia Zafar as Finance Secretary. All three office-bearers were elected unopposed, reflecting the strong confidence and unanimous support of the association’s members.

The newly elected office-bearers will serve for the constitutionally prescribed four-year term of the AFL Punjab Association. The new leadership expressed its commitment to working collectively for the promotion, development and strengthening of footy league activities across Punjab. They also pledged to ensure transparency, unity and effective administrative affairs within the association.

The electoral process was conducted in accordance with the constitution and election rules of the AFL Punjab Association under the supervision of the Sports Board Punjab.

AFL Punjab Association Election 2026 Chief Election Commissioner Saeed-ur-Rehman formally announced the unopposed election of Attaullah Khan as President, Muhammad Shoaib as General Secretary and Nadia Zafar as Finance Secretary after successfully completing the electoral proceedings.

Following the announcement of the results, members of the association congratulated the newly elected leadership and expressed confidence in their vision, commitment and efforts for the further development of the association.

Under the leadership of the newly elected Executive Committee, the AFL Punjab Association reaffirmed its commitment to promoting sportsmanship, organizational standards, transparent governance, and the continued promotion and development of footy league activities throughout Punjab.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks followed by a dinner attended by association members, distinguished guests and relevant officials.
