An important consultative meeting was held at Mehria Public School under the auspices of the RUH (Revival of Uswa-e-Hasana) Forum regarding the welfare of private educational institutions, the religious, moral, and academic development of students, and the ongoing membership campaign. The meeting was chaired by RUH Forum Director Abrar Ahmad Khan, while Mufti Sinan Taimoor Iqbal performed the duties of host.
The meeting was attended by Adnan Nisar, Abid Hussain, Nasir Mahmood, Junaid Athar, Shehzad Nawaz, Salwat Khan, Iftikhar-ul-Islam, Sajid Ilyas, Abdul Rehman Nasir, Rizwan Zulfiqar, and other notable educational personalities.
Addressing the participants, Abrar Ahmad Khan said that in Islam, the promotion and dissemination of knowledge is regarded as one of the greatest virtues, and providing education is among the best forms of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah). He stated that knowledge from which people benefit continues to earn rewards for a person even after their passing.
He further emphasized that equipping children and youth with both religious and contemporary education, supporting deserving students, and providing educational resources are in fact investments in the bright future of the nation.
He informed the participants that the RUH Forum Trust has been established to promote the religious, moral, and educational development of children. Under this initiative, special attention will be given to the teaching of the Quran and Sunnah, financial assistance for deserving students, free education for orphan children, and scholarship programs for talented students.
Abrar Ahmad Khan also highlighted the importance of establishing the “Ajdad Trust” and encouraged philanthropists to participate in welfare and educational projects as a means of conveying rewards to their deceased parents and elders.
The participants appreciated the objectives of the RUH Forum and assured their full cooperation in promoting education, character building, and supporting underprivileged children.
At the conclusion of the meeting, special prayers were offered for the progress and prosperity of the country and the nation, the proper upbringing of the younger generation, and the promotion of humanitarian service.
