

In four operations, two suspects were arrested, and over 1043.5 kilograms of drugs worth more than 84.7 million rupees were seized.
Islamabad (Asif Malik) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested two suspects during operations against drug smuggling in various cities across the country, seizing a total of 1043.5 kilograms of drugs valued at over 84.7 million rupees.
According to an ANF spokesperson, 33.5 kilograms of ice were recovered during the search of two containers bound for Malaysia in Maripur, Karachi.
Near the motorway toll plaza in Rawalpindi, 6 kilograms of hashish were recovered from a passenger’s bag, leading to the arrest of one suspect, while another suspect was apprehended with 4 kilograms of hashish during an operation near the Gulshan-e-Iqbal bus terminal in Karachi.
Additionally, 1000 kilograms of hashish were recovered hidden in bushes near Yaro, in the Pishin district.
The ANF spokesperson stated that cases for all operations have been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act of 1997, and investigations have commenced.
