Islamabad (Crime Reporter) Providing better and effective police services to citizens is a top priority. The Inspector General of Islamabad directed officers to enhance the policing system to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property, prevent crime, and promote public trust. According to details, a significant meeting of senior police officers was held under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, where important matters regarding the timely, effective, and dignified provision of police services, improving police response, and strengthening the public service system were reviewed. The meeting was attended by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, SSP Investigation Suleman Zafar, and DSP CIA. During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted on the law and order situation in Islamabad, crime prevention, ongoing actions against criminal elements, improvements in investigative matters, and the police facilities provided to citizens. IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi instructed officers that the protection of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority. To achieve this, the policing system should be made more effective, coordinated, and citizen-friendly. He stated that immediate resolution of citizens’ complaints, better response, and provision of quality police services will further strengthen public trust. He also directed officers to adopt modern strategies for crime prevention, indiscriminate actions against criminal elements, and immediate resolution of citizens’ issues, and to enhance the effectiveness of police presence in the field. He added that the Islamabad police is utilizing all resources to provide citizens with a safe environment and excellent police facilities under the vision of public service.
