“Climate Action Walk” Held in Islamabad in Collaboration with Cheezious Pakistan and CDA

Participants Pledge to Promote Environmental Protection, Tree Plantation and Climate Awareness

The Rukhsanda Memorial Welfare Foundation, in collaboration with Cheezious Pakistan and the Environment Wing of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), organized a “Climate Action Walk” in Islamabad to raise awareness about the growing threats posed by climate change and the importance of protecting the environment.

The walk aimed to promote awareness among the public, particularly young people, about the impacts of climate change, environmental protection, tree plantation, cleanliness and responsible citizenship. Participants expressed their commitment to adopting environmentally friendly lifestyles and protecting their surroundings.

Founder of the Rukhsanda Memorial Welfare Foundation Tehreem Zaki, CDA Director General Environment Irfan Azim Khan Niazi, and representatives of the Cheezious Pakistan team attended the event.

The speakers said climate change is a global challenge that requires governments, private organizations, social welfare groups and volunteers to work together on a united platform. They emphasized that public awareness, youth participation and collective efforts are essential for environmental protection and sustainable development.

Speaking on the occasion, Rukhsanda Memorial Welfare Foundation founder Tehreem Zaki said young people are the greatest force for bringing positive change to society. She said voluntary activities can not only promote environmental protection but also help build a responsible and empowered society.

She reiterated the foundation’s commitment to continuing initiatives for environmental protection and youth welfare in the future.

CDA Director General Environment Irfan Azim Khan Niazi said every citizen must play a role in addressing the effects of climate change. Stressing the importance of planting trees, maintaining cleanliness and adopting environmentally friendly habits, he said a clean and green Pakistan is a shared responsibility.

Representatives of Cheezious Pakistan said that, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the company continues to support long-term and sustainable efforts aimed at encouraging young people, promoting volunteerism, raising environmental awareness and improving communities.

Through its “Azadi Cheez Hai Aesi” campaign, the brand is encouraging young people to participate in positive social activities, promote volunteer services and play their role in building a better society.

Cheezious Pakistan supported the event as the food sponsor. The walk conveyed the message that environmental protection and sustainable development goals can be achieved more effectively when the government, private sector, social organizations and volunteers work together on a common platform.

At the conclusion of the event, participants reaffirmed their commitment to continuing efforts to raise awareness about climate change, promote tree plantation, maintain cleanliness and protect the environment, with the aim of laying the foundation for a safe, green and sustainable Pakistan for future generations.
