Rawalpindi (Syed Shahid Waheed Hashmi): Commissioner Rawalpindi and Director General of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Salman Ghani, visited the under-construction multi-storey commercial building project being developed by the RDA and conducted a detailed review of the construction activities.

On the occasion, the relevant officers briefed him on the progress of the project, construction quality, and the stipulated timeline.

Commissioner Salman Ghani directed that construction work on the project be further accelerated so that it could be completed within the stipulated period while maintaining high quality standards. He made it clear that no compromise on construction quality, transparency, or safety requirements would be tolerated, and strict compliance with rules and regulations must be ensured at every stage.

In view of the monsoon season, he also directed that special safety arrangements be ensured at the construction site. He said that the safety of workers, engineers, and other staff must be the top priority, while effective measures should also be taken to protect construction materials and structures from possible weather-related effects.

The Commissioner Rawalpindi expressed hope that the timely completion of the multi-storey commercial building would further strengthen the institutional infrastructure of the RDA, enhance the organization’s operational capacity, and help provide better facilities to citizens.

He directed the relevant authorities to ensure continuous monitoring of the project and its timely completion.
