Rawalpindi (Syed Shahid Waheed Hashmi): Rawalpindi Police, during its ongoing campaign against drug traffickers, arrested two alleged drug suppliers in two separate operations and recovered a total of more than 3.5 kilograms of hashish from their possession.
According to the police spokesperson, Airport Police conducted an operation and arrested a suspect from whom 2 kilograms and 400 grams of hashish were recovered.
In a separate operation, Waris Khan Police arrested another suspect and recovered 1 kilogram and 260 grams of hashish from his possession.
Police have registered cases against both suspects under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act and initiated further investigation to trace the drug supply network and identify other individuals involved.
The Rawalpindi Police spokesperson stated that indiscriminate operations are continuing to eliminate the menace of narcotics from society, and strict legal action is being taken against all those involved in drug trafficking in accordance with the law.
