Directs Public Health Engineering Department and Municipal Committee to ensure coordination for restoration and maintenance of sewerage lines

Daud Khel (Zia Niazi): A review meeting regarding the complete operationalization of the Daud Khel sewerage system was held at the DC Office Committee Room under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mianwali Shahid Abbas Khattak.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner received a detailed briefing on various aspects of the Municipal Committee Daud Khel sewerage scheme, including the disposal station, electricity installations, siphons, cleaning of sewerage lines, and other related matters.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officials of the Public Health Engineering Department and the Municipal Committee to ensure complete coordination between both institutions for making the sewerage system fully functional.

He instructed that necessary cleaning, rehabilitation, and repair work of the sewerage lines should be carried out on a priority basis so that the scheme can be restored and provide effective services to the residents of Daud Khel.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Majid Bin Ahmed, Deputy Director Development Shoaib Raza Khan, Sub-Divisional Officer Public Health Engineering Muhammad Riaz, and other relevant departmental officers.
