Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza visited various Imambargahs in the federal capital in connection with the security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.

During the visit, they conducted a detailed review of the security measures in place and met with the administrators of the Imambargahs. Discussions were held regarding the maintenance of law and order during Muharram-ul-Haram, foolproof security arrangements, the peaceful conduct of processions and religious gatherings (Majalis), and the promotion of mutual cooperation between the police and organizers.

The DIG Islamabad and SSP Operations directed the concerned officers to further strengthen all security arrangements, maintain close coordination with the organizers, and ensure complete preparedness to deal with any emergency situation.

They reaffirmed that Islamabad Police will utilize all available resources to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property and maintain peace and order throughout Muharram-ul-Haram.
