Instructions Issued for Immediate Resolution of Public Issues on Merit

Islamabad Police remains committed to resolving citizens’ issues on a priority basis.
In line with special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at his office, where he listened to complaints and issues raised by citizens.
During the session, he issued instructions to concerned officers for the immediate resolution of public grievances and emphasized that resolving citizens’ issues on merit is the top priority.
He said that citizens can also register their complaints through the “IGP Complaint Cell-1715”, adding that Islamabad Police is actively reaching out to the public through various initiatives to address their concerns.
The DIG further stated that IG Islamabad has directed all senior police officers to organize open courts across the district, and in this regard, zonal SPs are also conducting such sessions in their respective areas.
He added that any citizen of Islamabad can freely present their issues in these open courts, and the purpose of this public outreach initiative is to resolve citizens’ problems at their doorstep and improve service delivery by the police.
