Islamabad (Staff Reporter): A dignified and grand Independence Day ceremony was held at Islamabad Model School G-7/2 Awami Market. The chief guest was Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, General Secretary of the CDA Labour Union.
The ceremony was attended by CDA Labour Union President Aurangzeb Khan, Pakistan Workers Federation General Secretary Asad Mahmood, Additional General Secretary of the CDA Labour Union Muhammad Sarfraz Malik, along with students, teachers, education department officials, and representatives of various workers’ organizations.
On the occasion, the school was beautifully decorated with national flags, green-and-white buntings, and other decorative items. Students expressed their love and devotion to their homeland through national songs, speeches, and various other performances.
Addressing the ceremony, the speakers highlighted the struggle for Pakistan’s independence, national unity, solidarity, and the role of the younger generation in the country’s development. They said Pakistan is the result of the unforgettable sacrifices made by the nation’s elders, and the new generation has a responsibility to contribute to the country’s development and prosperity by making education, hard work, honesty, and discipline their guiding principles.
Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin and other distinguished guests appreciated the school administration, teachers, and students for organizing the Independence Day ceremony and described such activities as highly important for promoting national spirit among young people.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a special prayer was offered for the security, development, prosperity, and stability of Pakistan.
The participants expressed their resolve to continue fulfilling their responsibilities wholeheartedly for the development and progress of their homeland, national unity, and prosperity.
