DPO Mianwali Chairs Crime Meeting, Directs Police to Intensify Action Against Criminal Elements

Daud Khel (Zia Niazi): District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali, Waqar Azeem Kharral, chaired an important crime meeting at the District Police Lines, Mianwali. The meeting was attended by SP Investigation Mianwali Mehr Muhammad Riaz Naz, SDPOs, SHOs, and other relevant police officers from across the district.

The DPO commended all officers for their effective performance during Muharram-ul-Haram security duties and announced commendation certificates and cash rewards for officers and personnel in recognition of their services.

The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation in the district, serious crimes, the progress of ongoing investigations, the arrest of proclaimed and habitual offenders, and measures aimed at preventing crime.

DPO Waqar Azeem Kharral directed officers to further intensify intelligence-based operations against criminal elements, ensure the prompt arrest of proclaimed and habitual offenders, and complete investigations on merit, with transparency and within the prescribed timeframe.

He stated that protecting the lives and property of citizens and ensuring the timely, effective, and impartial delivery of justice remain the top priorities of the Mianwali Police. He also instructed all officers to treat complainants visiting police stations with courtesy, respect, and professionalism, and to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of their grievances.

The DPO made it clear that negligence in duty, poor performance, or inappropriate behavior towards citizens would not be tolerated under any circumstances, and that strict departmental action would be taken against those found responsible. At the same time, he emphasized that officers demonstrating outstanding performance would continue to be encouraged and rewarded at every level.

Concluding the meeting, DPO Waqar Azeem Kharral reaffirmed the Mianwali Police’s commitment to maintaining lasting peace and order across the district, effectively combating crime, and protecting the lives and property of the public with dedication and professionalism.
