Frankfurt Hosts Grand Family Cultural and Musical Show for Independence Day

Tableaus, national songs, cultural activities, and live music were the main highlights of the event.

Frankfurt (Special Correspondent) – A grand family cultural and musical show celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day was held in Frankfurt, Germany, organized by the Pakistan-Germany Integration and Cultural Society. Approximately 500 Pakistani men, women, children, and families from Frankfurt and surrounding areas actively participated in the event. The celebration, adorned with Pakistani flags, national songs, and colors, beautifully expressed love for the homeland, national unity, and Pakistan-Germany friendship.

The guest of honor was Fahad Rahman, the Acting Consul General of Pakistan in Frankfurt, along with various political, social, business, and media personalities, including Trade and Investment Counselor Amina Naeem, who also attended the event.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat presented in reverence of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Children also recited Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s famous prayer, “Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua Ban Ke Tamanna Meri.” Acting Consul General Fahad Rahman cut the Independence Day cake with children and other distinguished guests, after which the hall echoed with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad!” The event was hosted by Raja Azhar Kiani, Maim Amtyaz, and Zahid Chaudhry.

Children presented beautiful tableaus on national songs, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience. The event also featured numerous engaging and entertaining activities for children, women, and adults. The program included musical chairs, personality quizzes, song identification, amateur singing, question and answer sessions, instant prizes, and other exciting competitions. Various prizes were awarded to children and adults, with two lucky winners taking home major awards. Participants in other activities also received various gifts, while children were awarded trophies.

In his address, guest of honor Fahad Rahman congratulated the Pakistani community on Independence Day and praised their enthusiastic celebration of the national day abroad. He emphasized the importance of connecting the new generation with Pakistan’s history, culture, and national values. Trade and Investment Counselor Amina Naeem and other guests commended the active participation of the Pakistani community and the enthusiasm of families and children. Participants stated that such events abroad not only unite the Pakistani community on a single platform but also serve as an effective means to introduce the new generation growing up in Germany to their language, culture, traditions, and national identity.

In the concluding segment of the event, singer and musician Saeed Khan, who traveled from Malaga, Spain, performed live music, Sufi poetry, Punjabi Bhangra, and songs in various Pakistani languages. The organizers expressed gratitude to the Consulate General of Pakistan in Frankfurt, sponsors, collaborating individuals, media representatives, volunteers, and especially Pakistani families, whose active participation and support made the event successful. The organizers stated that the Pakistan-Germany Integration and Cultural Society will continue its efforts to bring the Pakistani community closer together through family, cultural, and national programs, ensuring the new generation remains connected to Pakistan’s culture and national identity in the future.
