Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi emphasizes quality, transparency, effective monitoring, and citizen-friendly policing under the Open Door Policy
Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi is actively overseeing administrative, operational, and professional matters of the Islamabad Police. He conducted a detailed review of ongoing development projects, institutional infrastructure, and administrative affairs of the police department.
During the review, the Assistant Director Development briefed the IG Islamabad on ongoing projects, construction activities, and administrative progress.
Issuing directives on the occasion, IG Islamabad instructed that all development projects should be completed within the निर्धारित timelines while maintaining high quality, transparency, and efficiency. He emphasized that institutional infrastructure should be modernized in accordance with contemporary requirements to provide officers with a better working environment and ensure improved policing facilities for citizens.
He also stressed the importance of effective monitoring, coordination between relevant departments, and timely completion of all development initiatives.
Furthermore, IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at the Central Police Office under the Open Door Policy, where he listened to the concerns of citizens and police officials. He issued on-the-spot directions to the relevant officers for the immediate and merit-based resolution of their issues.
Speaking on the occasion, the IG Islamabad said that the timely and fair resolution of citizens’ problems is the foremost priority of Islamabad Police, adding that the doors of the Central Police Office remain open for every citizen.
He directed concerned officers to resolve received applications on merit within the prescribed timeframe and submit compliance reports.
IG Islamabad also instructed all SDPOs and SHOs to ensure regular meetings with citizens during designated hours, prioritize the resolution of public issues, and continue effective implementation of the Open Door Policy to promote people-friendly policing.
