Blocked sewerage system causing accumulation of dirty water in Swiss Plaza
Islamabad (News Reporter): President of the D-12 Markaz Traders Association and Deputy General Secretary of the Islamabad Estate Agents Association, Muhammad Nauman, has said that sewerage and cleanliness issues in D-12 Markaz have become a serious problem for traders and citizens.
He stated that due to the blockage of the sewerage system, dirty water remains accumulated at various locations inside Swiss Plaza, while poor drainage facilities and unsatisfactory cleanliness arrangements are not only affecting business activities but also causing daily difficulties for the public.
Muhammad Nauman said that D-12 Markaz is an important commercial center of Islamabad; however, the lack of basic civic facilities is damaging its appearance and negatively affecting the business environment.
He urged the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to take immediate steps for cleaning sewerage lines, improving the drainage system, and launching regular cleanliness campaigns to ensure a permanent solution to these problems.
He emphasized that timely action by the relevant authorities is necessary to restore proper civic facilities and provide a better environment for traders, customers, and residents.
