Dawud Khel (Zia Niazi) – The E-Clinic was inaugurated at the Old Hospital Iskandarabad by Air Commodore (Retd) Farooq Ahmed Bukhari, Senior Manager of CSR, and Nauman Waheed, Head of Plant at FFC Dawud Khel. During the event, they spoke with journalists from the Dawud Khel Press Club, stating that these clinics are a blessing for the people of underdeveloped areas. Today, the E-Clinics in Khairabad and Iskandarabad were inaugurated, and God willing, considering their utility, their scope can be expanded. However, these clinics are intended for the entire district of Mianwali, not just a specific area. They further explained that a patient will only need to pay a token fee of twenty rupees. This fee will cover a check-up by highly qualified doctors, and they will also receive medications. If the doctor requires lab tests, the patient will only need to pay an additional one hundred rupees. This amount has been proposed so that people do not perceive it as a charity hospital, allowing them to feel proud that they paid for their treatment. They also mentioned that a digital X-ray machine will be available next year from the welfare fund, all of which will be covered within the one hundred twenty rupees. Journalists from Dawud Khel expressed gratitude to Nauman Waheed, Head of FFC Plant Dawud Khel, for considering the welfare of the poor local population. Nauman Waheed stated that they have multiple projects for drinking water for local communities, which will soon be launched in various cities. Brigadier Irfan Sadiq Gul, overseeing all welfare activities, informed journalists that FFC’s policy has always been to work alongside local communities. Numerous welfare schemes will be launched each year, and all funds will be allocated to areas including Dawud Khel, Khairabad, Guln Khel, Paki Shah Mardan, Mari Indus, and Surda Khatak Abad. In a short period, the region’s condition will change, and all kinds of facilities will be provided. Dr. Sahra Sadia Siddiqui, in charge of the E-Clinics, was also present and thanked the journalists from Dawud Khel Press Club, stating that they have always shown positive activity and highlighted public issues. Colonel Talat Mahmood, Administrator of the Housing Colony, had made excellent arrangements at the locations of Khairabad and Iskandarabad, ensuring foolproof security. Major Adnan, Major Amir Khan, and Amjad Ali, Assistant Admin of the Housing Colony Iskandarabad, closely monitored all arrangements. It was a team effort that led to the successful inauguration of both E-Clinics.
