Independence Day Ceremony at Girls Degree College Hunza

Islamabad (Izhhar Khan Niazi) – Senator Saleem Mandviwala, the Chief Whip of the Senate and Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Finance, attended the Independence Day ceremony as the chief guest at the Government Girls Degree College in Karimabad, Hunza.

The event began with a flag hoisting ceremony, during which students, teachers, and the administration at the college expressed their national spirit and enthusiasm as the national flag was raised.

In his address, Senator Saleem Mandviwala stated that freedom is a great blessing from Allah and the result of the timeless sacrifices of our elders. He urged students to focus on both their education and character building, and to play an active role in the development and prosperity of Pakistan.

The ceremony was attended by the college administration, teachers, and female students, who celebrated Independence Day with national fervor and enthusiasm. On this occasion, Senator Saleem Mandviwala also planted a tree, highlighting the importance of afforestation.
