Hundreds received free hepatitis tests, medical examinations, and screenings for various diseases; doctors and medical institutions actively participated, and honorary certificates were distributed among participants.
Islamabad (News News) The All Pakistan Association of Health and Medical Organizations, in collaboration with the Postal Headquarters Staff Union CBA, organized an Independence Day Free Medical Camp for the employees of the Postal Headquarters and their families at the Postal Medical Center Dispensary in G-8. The chief guest of the camp was Squadron Leader Maqsood Ahmed Baloch, Director General of the Post Office, while Additional Director General Admin Zahirullah Khattak, Additional DANF Anwar Malik, General Secretary of the Postal Headquarters Union CBA Parvez Akhtar, Chaudhry Karamat, Chaudhry Tariq, Muhammad Faizan, and other team members played a significant role in organizing the camp.
On this occasion, the District Health Officer, Zia Dawar from the Prime Minister’s Hepatitis Control Program, and his team also visited the Independence Day Free Medical Camp. In collaboration with Ideal Lab, hundreds of participants received free hepatitis tests and medical examinations, along with various medical facilities.
President of the All Pakistan Association of Health and Medical Organizations Malik Sajjad, General Secretary and Chief Organizer Abdul Waheed Babi, Vice President Zahid Ahmed, and other officials expressed special gratitude to the distinguished guests, doctors, medical experts, and representatives from various institutions who participated in the camp.
The Independence Day Free Medical Camp featured teams from Rafah Medical and Max Hospital, Shifa Noor Eye Clinic, Ideal Diagnostic Center, Ibn-e-Sina Lab, Shaheen Lab, Popular International, Sehat.com, and other health and medical institutions, providing their medical services.
Participants at the camp were offered free medical examinations, various tests, and medical consultations. The organizers stated that the purpose of holding the free medical camp on Independence Day was to provide quality medical facilities to the employees of the Postal Headquarters and their families at their doorstep and to promote health awareness. At the end of the event, honorary certificates were distributed to the doctors, medical experts, paramedical staff, and other participants who contributed to the organization of the camp.
