Islamabad (Izhhar Khan Niazi) – For the first time in Pakistan’s history, services from the Ministry of Interior and its affiliated departments will be provided from a single center. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the under-construction modern service center of the Ministry of Interior in F-6, Islamabad, and took a detailed look at the ongoing construction activities. The minister was given a comprehensive briefing on the service center project, construction progress, and the facilities to be provided to citizens. On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi directed the relevant authorities to complete the project in a short time and make it operational as soon as possible. He emphasized that the service center should be activated as quickly as possible to prevent citizens from having to visit multiple offices for services. The modern service center will offer licenses, NOCs, visas, identity cards, passports, and all other public services managed by the Ministry of Interior under one roof. It will also feature a modern public contact hall, service counters, and spacious waiting areas. The federal minister stated that the purpose of establishing the service center is to provide citizens with fast, easy, and dignified government services in one location. Providing modern, integrated, and citizen-friendly services is the government’s top priority. He mentioned that the F-6 service center is a model project, and after its success, similar service centers will be established in other cities for public convenience. The minister instructed to ensure the construction speed and quality of the project, stating that all necessary measures should be taken to facilitate citizens in obtaining government services. The Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, and senior officials from relevant departments were also present at the occasion.
