Islamabad (Crime Reporter): The federal police conducted grand search and combing operations in various areas of the capital. During the operations, 396 individuals, 195 houses, 85 shops, 31 hotels, 304 motorcycles and 124 vehicles were checked. Additionally, 12 suspicious individuals and 22 motorcycles were shifted to different police stations for verification.
According to details, in accordance with the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continues to conduct grand combing and search operations in various areas of the federal capital to prevent crime and curb criminal elements.
In this regard, grand search and combing operations were conducted in various areas under the supervision of zonal SSPs.
During the search operations, 396 individuals, 195 houses, 85 shops, 31 hotels, 304 motorcycles and 124 vehicles were checked. Meanwhile, 12 suspicious individuals and 22 motorcycles were shifted to different police stations for verification.
Furthermore, suspects involved in the possession of illegal weapons were arrested, and two pistols of different calibers along with ammunition were also recovered.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that the purpose of the search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and make security more effective across the city. He added that search operations are being conducted in various areas across the district.
