Islamabad Traffic Police Ensure Excellent Traffic Management During 9th and 10th Muharram; Over 500 Officers Perform Duties Efficiently

Traffic Police Remain Fully Committed to Maintaining an Effective Traffic System and Providing Citizens with Safe Travel Facilities, Says Chief Traffic Officer Kainat Azhar Khan

Islamabad (Crime Reporter) – Islamabad Traffic Police ensured excellent traffic management during the 9th and 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram. A well-coordinated traffic system was maintained during various religious gatherings and processions, including the central procession in G-6. Designated parking areas were established away from procession routes and Imambargahs, while alternative routes were provided to facilitate the movement of citizens.

According to details, under the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Traffic Police implemented comprehensive traffic arrangements for the 9th and 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram. A special traffic management plan was issued, under which more than 500 traffic police officers and personnel remained deployed at key roads and various locations across the federal capital, performing their duties efficiently.

During the religious gatherings and processions, traffic flow was effectively maintained to ensure that citizens did not face inconvenience while traveling.

Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan stated that Islamabad Traffic Police remains fully committed to utilizing all available resources to provide citizens with every possible travel facility while maintaining a well-coordinated traffic management system throughout the federal capital.

She added that, owing to the effective arrangements made by Islamabad Traffic Police, smooth traffic flow was successfully maintained across the city during Muharram-ul-Haram.

The Chief Traffic Officer further said that the efforts and professional performance of Islamabad Police during Muharram-ul-Haram were widely appreciated by people from all walks of life on various platforms. Citizens also commended the police officers deployed at public places and praised the efficient management of traffic on major roads.

CTO Kainat Azhar Khan congratulated the officers and personnel of Islamabad Traffic Police on their outstanding performance and urged them to continue carrying out their duties with dedication and professionalism.
