CTO Kainat Azhar Khan reviews traffic arrangements during visit to Faizabad
Islamabad (Crime Reporter): Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan visited Faizabad and directed officials to further accelerate action against illegal bus stands, encroachments, and violations of traffic laws.
According to details, CTO Islamabad met with traffic police officers deployed at the location and conducted a detailed review of traffic flow, operational arrangements, and the overall situation in the area.
During the visit, she inspected factors causing disruptions in traffic movement, illegal bus stands, encroachments, and other related issues. She directed the concerned officers to take strict and impartial action against such elements to ensure uninterrupted travel facilities for citizens.
The CTO instructed officials to continue strict legal action against drivers violating traffic rules, emphasizing that the implementation of traffic laws must be ensured without discrimination to maintain discipline on roads.
She further directed that locations affecting traffic flow should be continuously monitored, immediate steps should be taken to remove obstacles, and public convenience must remain the top priority.
CTO Kainat Azhar Khan personally monitored the ongoing operations against traffic violators and individuals causing disruption to traffic flow, while issuing necessary instructions to officers present on duty.
She stated that Islamabad Traffic Police is taking all possible measures to provide citizens with safe, organized, and uninterrupted transportation facilities. She added that operations against traffic violations, illegal parking, encroachments, and other obstacles will continue in an effective manner to further improve the traffic management system in the federal capital.
